Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join their team and support daily human resources operations. In this role, you will play a key part in facilitating a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, managing temporary staffing agency needs, and assisting with employee benefits reconciliations. You will also collaborate closely with the team on payroll preparation by reviewing timecards and updating employee records in Paylocity and Excel prior to final processing. Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle: Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires, including drafting offer letters, setting up employee profiles in Paylocity, conducting orientation, and guiding new team members through initial paperwork.
  • Payroll Preparation & Timekeeping: Audit employee timesheets, track hourly submissions, and prepare payroll data in Paylocity and basic Excel spreadsheets to support the payroll administrator prior to final processing.
  • Temporary Staffing Management: Serve as the primary liaison for temporary staffing agencies, submitting requisitions, tracking contractor hours, and overseeing daily temp scheduling and attendance.
  • Benefits Reconciliation & Administration: Conduct monthly benefit bill reconciliations by cross-referencing vendor carrier statements against Paylocity deduction reports, identifying discrepancies, and assisting employees with basic benefits inquiries.
  • HR Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate employee files and use Paylocity and standard Excel spreadsheets to track basic HR data, leave balances, and routine reporting.
